Decided (finally) to give this another go and pumped this out while watching crappy movies.
I think I kept the original design well enough while at the same time bringing more elements in from the Lictor side of things.

I did tone down the sonic art style somewhat, bringing it closer to my own. This decision made it much easier to work with and I think made the resultant piece much better than if I'd tried to do one or the other.

I'm pretty happy with it overall

(I'm also learning that big cartoony hands are really fun/easy to draw)
